A basement that's wet or moldy isn't functioning the way it's supposed to-- as an extension of your home. Problems with wet or overly humid basements often stem from leaky pipes, flooding during heavy rainfall, or sump pump failure. Because basements are typically built below ground level, they are prone to flooding and the effects of shifting, expanding earth. By installing vapor barriers and insulated wall panels, we can seal out that moisture while ensuring that the area is energy-efficient.
We offer proven-effective drainage systems that work in tangent with our sump pumps to remove any water and safely deposit it out of the house, away from your foundations. Our TripleSafe sump pump has a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a third, battery-operated backup pump. This system will ensure that even if the power goes out, your waterproofing system will remain functional and your basement will stay dry.
As one of the areas of the home that is often neglected, crawl spaces can often fall into disrepair. Signs of major crawl space problems can include sagging floors, condensation, mold or mildew, wood rot, and foundation cracks. Similar to our basement waterproofing methods, installing a vapor barrier combined with our thermal insulation can seal out moisture, bugs, and debris while making your crawl space more energy-efficient. This will improve the quality of air in your crawl space and prevent harmful air, mold, and odors from seeping into your home or business.
Wood rot as a result of too much moisture in crawl spaces can not only produce a foul smell but can also significantly weaken wooden supports. Surface mold is only on the outside of the wood, but wood rot eats into the wood and weakens it.
Thankfully, even for homes that have mold damage, it is not always necessary to replace the whole wood beam. Frank's Basement Systems offers crawl space jack posts to reinforce rotting crawl space beams/posts and restore your floor back to its original, level position. Let us install our complete crawl space encapsulation and air purifying solutions to prevent moisture build-up, seal gaps, reduce drafts, and cut down on wasted heating and cooling efforts.
For many homeowners, troubles with their foundations are caused by weakened, broken soil that can no longer support the weight of the structure or was low-quality to begin with. Some of the major signs that your foundation is in disrepair are sagging or uneven floors, cracks in the walls or floors, hard-to-open windows and doors, tilting chimneys, street creep, and cracks in the exterior walls.

Luis T. had multiple cracks along the walls of his basement yet had no idea why they were forming nor just how worried he should be about the situation. Tired of the stress, Luis gave the experts at Frank's Basement Systems a call for a free inspection and estimate. Christian Nati inspected Luis's basement and was let Luis know the cracks in his basement wall were caused by the foundation of his home shifting! In order to fix this, 7 Helical piers were installed into the bedrock beneath Luis's home, to ensure the foundation would no longer shift and cause more cracks. An exterior drainage line, was also installed, starting at the right rear corner of Luis's home so all discharge and water from the Sump Pump in Luis's basement would drain out to the Bubbler system across the street.
Be like Luis, and let Frank's take away the stress of large home repairs!
Jim and Kris had multiple large vertical cracks in their basement, that had never been inspected and were beginning to become a source of worry for the couple. The two decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free inspection and estimate. Christian Nati inspected the space and knew right away that a structural repair would be needed, to uphold the safety of Jim and Kris's home, and to avoid future issues.
A total of 7 Foundation Support works Helical piles were installed directly into the footing of the couple's home. Next, Helical support brackets were permanently fastened to the footers of the foundation, along with exterior helical piles to prevent any more structural movement within the foundation of the couple's home.
Now that Jim and Kris could rest assured knowing their home was protected from future structural issues, we were able to move forward to fix the multiple vertical cracks found in the basement wall. With our Xypex crack repair system, this was an easy task to take on, and Jim and Kris's basement was repaired in no time at all!
Patrick's basement was flooded during a storm and suffered from pretty severe water damage. Unsure what was causing the flooding, Patrick called the experts at Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate and inspection! After being inspected by Frank Nati, it was decided a full basement waterproofing was needed.
First, a trench drain was installed to prevent and intercept water from entering the basement. PVC Pipes were installed along all walls, along with "weep holes" to allow water to drain from within the walls. Next, Patrick's clay sump crock and pump system was replaced with a Super Sump Plus Sump Pump System. The Super Sump Plus was installed alongside an Ultra Sump Battery Back Up Sump Pump System to provide uninterrupted protection from primary pump malfunction or failure. An additional PVC drainage line was then installed to ensure all sump pump discharge runs to a bubbler and storm system outside Patrick's home.
After Patrick's main basement space was waterproofed, Frank and his team moved on to the crawlspace. A CleanSpace Waterproof wall system was placed along the permitter of the crawlspace and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidification system was installed in the space to dry out any air in the crawlspace, making it smell better, and reducing the chance of mold growth.
With the help of Frank's, Patrick can now be assured his basement will be free of water and mold for up to 25 years!
Jackie L. had persistent issues with mold in the crawl space of her Buffalo home. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on crawl space waterproofing.
Bob visited Patricia's home and inspected the crawl space. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to help keep the area dry and the correct temperature.
Jackie no longer has to worry about the effects of mold in her home!
Jim and Kris had a leaking crack in their basement that had caused them a lot of frustration. The couple called Frank's Basement Systems for a professional opinion. Christian inspected her home and with the help of an engineer, determined the crack was more than just a nuisance. It was actually indicative of a much larger problem, foundation settlement.
To prevent any further foundation damage, 7 helical piers were installed at the corner where the foundation was sinking. The piers attach to the footer of the foundation and are drilled into stable soil. The stable soil supports the weight of the house and prevents further sinking and foundation damage.
With the help of the Frank's Basement System team, Jim and Kris's foundation was permanently stabilized!
Marcy had a leaking crack in her basement that had caused her a lot of frustration. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a professional opinion. Ray inspected her home and with the help of an engineer, determined the crack was more than just a nuisance. It was actually indicative of a much larger problem; foundation settlement.
To prevent any further foundation damage, 8 helical piers were installed at the corner where the foundation was sinking. The piers attach to the footer of the foundation and are drilled into stable soil. The stable soil supports the weight of the house and prevents further sinking and foundation damage.
With no excavation on the interior of the home, Marcy's foundation was permanently stabilized.
Nadia had a partially finished basement she wanted protected against water. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a new sump pump system.
Rick recommended a SuperSump Plus and UltraSump battery back up sump pump. The SuperSump Plus will remove all water from the drainage system. There is also room in the liner if Nadia wants to add a secondary pump. The UltraSump battery back up will work in the event of a power outage, primary pump failure, or if the primary pump becomes overwhelmed.
Nadia's investment is now protected from water damage.
Russell had a crack in his basement he wanted inspected. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate. Rick assessed his home and, with the help of a structural engineer, determined the crack was indicative of more significant issues.
Russell had a large portion of the back foundation wall of his Williamsville home that was sinking. Seven helical piers needed to be drilled in the ground in the affected area. The piers were driven down to stable soil and attached to the footer of the foundation. This will prevent the house from sinking further. The crack in the basement wall was permanently sealed with Xypex.
Libby had just bought a new home she knew had water issues and some structural concerns. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on all the repairs.
Christian inspected the basement and designed a whole basement solution for Libby's home. This included perimeter waterproofing, sump pump system, and new permanent posts as extra support.
WaterGuard interior drainage was installed around the entire basement. This system is designed to take on large volumes of water from all directions. This system will feed directly into the TripleSafe sump pump system which keeps the basement protected with three sump pumps, including a battery back up sump pump in the event of a power outage. Two SmartJack posts replaced the existing lightweight posts on the main beam. SmartJacks are designed to never rust and be adjusted as needed over time.
In just a few days, all the work at Libby's house was completed and the basement is permanently protected.
Patricia had persistent water issues in the crawl space of her Cheektowaga home. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on crawl space waterproofing.
Joe visited Patricia's home and inspected the crawl space. He designed a new system that would waterproof the crawl space once and for all. The new system included SmartPipe drainage around the perimeter of the crawl space to collect water. The new drainage system will drain into the new SmartSump sump pump system. As an extra measure, dimpled drainage matting was installed on the dirt floor of the crawl space. The entire system was sealed with CleanSpace vapor barrier. SliverGlo insulation was installed up the walls and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to help keep the area dry and the correct temperature.
Jodie's home had cracks in the concrete walls that had been repaired by the previous owner. They were leaking and allowing water to pool in the basement. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a permanent repair. Christian inspected her basement and designed a custom system to address all of Jodie's concerns.
The new system started with repairing the three leaking wall cracks with a Xypex crystalline repair. The Xypex will fill all cracks and voids in the wall when it gets wet. The second part of the system was the WaterGuard interior drainage around the entire basement to collect any water from the walls and floor. The WaterGuard connected to the Triplesafe sump pump system to remove all water from the basement. The three pumps will keep the basement dry no matter how much water comes in or if the power goes out.
After two days, Jodie's Williamsville home is permanently protected against water.
Scott had some concerns about the support posts in his Buffalo basement. He called Frank's Basement Systems for an assessment on his home. Mike inspected the basement and found the current support posts in the basement were starting to fail.
He recommended four SmartJack posts to replace the current posts. SmartJacks are a permanent solution involving a new concrete footing for the post to prevent shifting and settling. They are made of galvanized steel to prevent rust and are warrantied for 25 years.
After two days, Scott's posts were permanently replaced thanks to Frank's Basement Systems.
Eleanor had a leaking crack in the wall in her Williamsville basement. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a permanent repair. Dave visited her home and inspected the basement. The solution that Dave designed for Eleanor included 119' of WaterGuard interior drainage, 166' of BrightWall, and a SuperSump Plus sump pump system.
The WaterGuard interior drainage was installed around the entire basement to catch water from the floor, ground, and walls. The BrightWall panels installed on all walls in the basement will create a clean look in the basement while preventing water from entering through the walls. The SuperSump Plus will pump all water collected by the system out of the basement.
After only three days of work, Eleanor's basement is permanently waterproofed thanks to Frank's Basement Systems.
Mike was frustrated with the constant water in his basement and the damage it was causing to his foundation. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate.
Frank visited his home and inspected the basement. He determined a multipart waterproofing system was the best option for Mike.
The first part is the BrightWall panels on the walls. These panels will stop moisture from entering through the walls and into the basement and provides a clean finished look.
The second part is the WaterGuard interior drainage system. Our patented system is designed to not clog with mud and be regularly flushed and maintained.
The third part is the SuperSump sump pump system which will remove all water from the basement and away from the house.
Mike no longer needs to worry about damage caused to his foundation by seeping water.
The wall in Anthony's basement had developed a severe bow and horizontal crack. He called Frank's Basement Systems to offer solutions for his foundation. Ray Smith visited his home and assessed the basement. He along with an engineer determined that the wall was beginning to fail and action should be taken sooner rather than later.
Due to the fairly mild bow, the wall was able to be repaired with the StableLock repair system. This method is less invasive than a whole wall replacement and requires half time. The floor in front of the wall was broken out and replaced with a rebar reinforced concrete footer. PowerBraces are installed into the new footer and attached to the floor joists. Rebar is then ran through the PowerBraces tying them together and increasing their strength. Metal forms are put up in front of the PowerBraces and concrete is pumped into the forms, creating a new concrete wall. A day later the forms are taken down to reveal a 100% structurally sound wall.
Mohammed had a recurring water problem in his partially finished basement. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a professional evaluation.
Frank Nati inspected his home and, after removing some drywall, found there was a leaking crack in the wall. He recommended a Xypex repair to permanently seal the crack. The Xypex injection will form a crystal structure within the crack to ensure water never enters through the crack again. The crack was then covered with BrightWall paneling.
As an extra measure, a SuperSump Plus sump pump was also installed to prevent any future flooding.
Jinseok had numerous large cracks in the in the poured walls of his Williamsville home. He also noticed some water around the cracked wall and a slight bow in the wall as well. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate.
Mike Ciocca inspected Jinseok's basement and designed a custom solution to address everything going on in his basement. This solution included WaterGuard interior drainage, Xypex crack repairs, CarbonArmor stitches, and a SuperSump Plus sump pump system.
A total of 10 PowerBraces were installed along the wall and tightened to bring the wall as straight as safely possible. The large cracks were sealed with Xypex to prevent any seepage and had CarbonArmor stitches installed across them to keep the cracks from expanding. The basement's water problem was solved with WaterGuard being installed at the base of the newly repaired wall and a SuperSump Plus sump pump to get and keep water out of the basement.
Jinseok had all of his repairs completed in a few days and warrantied for 25 years. Call today to schedule your estimate!
A Williamsville apartment building was beginning to sink into the ground. They called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on how to stop the sinking and prevent damage to the building.
Ray Smith recommended 21 helical piers to be installed around the entire building. The piers were drilled down 25 feet into the ground into stable soil. The top of the pier was then attached to the foundation footer with a large bracket. The area was backfilled and graded as if nothing had ever happened.
Helical piers are a minimally invasive way to permanently stabilize a foundation. Learn more at https://www.franksbasements.com/foundation-repair/foundation-problems/settlement-sinking/helical-pier-installation.html.
Keith's crawl space was nice enough that he could use it for storage. Unfortunately, three leaking cracks put anything he stored in there at risk of water damage. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free. no obligation estimate.
Shawn inspected the cracks and determined they could be fixed with a Xypex injection. The Xypex will keep water from entering through the cracks ever again. BrightWall panels were installed over the Xypex repair as an extra security measure and to create a clean look in the crawl space.
In one afternoon, Jamie the crack technician was able to permanently protect Keith's crawl space from water.
Leslie and Jim had some serious concerns about their Williamsville home. Over the years, their cinderblock walls had not only begun to leak but bow out at the top as well. They called Frank's Basement Systems in hopes of stopping the water and preventing any further damage.
Frank Nati inspected the basement and designed a solution specific to what Jim and Leslie needed. This solution included WaterGuard interior drainage, i-beam structural support, a SuperSump Plus sump pump system, and CarbonArmor support straps.
The WaterGuard and SuperSump Plus systems work together to trap and remove all water from the basement. The i-beams and CarbonArmor work to stabilize the foundation and support the weight of the house.
With all these new products and systems installed, Leslie and Jim can find comfort in knowing their home is protected and structurally sound.

WaterGuard will catch and trap water from the ground, basement floor, and walls. A SuperSump Plus sump pump system was also included to remove the water from the basement.
Aaron's basement was now permanently protected against water from all sources! Call today for your free estimate!
Donna's block foundation had become damaged from years of ground shift and hydrostatic pressure. She knew something needed to be done, so she called Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate.
Because of the different levels of damage to the Donna's foundation walls, different solutions were needed in different areas of the basement. On the less damaged wall, i-beams were installed as supplemental support. These steel beams are installed into the basement floor and attached to the home's floor joists to help take the weight of the house.
The more damaged wall required the Stabl-Loc wall system. Stabl-Loc builds a new wall in front of the old, failing wall. This process is as effective as a wall replacement, takes half the time, and is not nearly as invasive.
Donna's home was now stable and secure thanks to the work from Frank's Basement Systems.
Dottie and Konrad had a foundation wall in their Buffalo home that was beginning to fail. They called Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate.
Instead of a very invasive full wall replacement, the team at Frank's Basement Systems was able to install the Stabl-Loc wall system. Stabl-Loc is a way to build an additional wall to support a failing wall.
The first step is to install PowerBraces along the failing wall. Rebar is used to connect the PowerBraces together and will strengthen the wall that is about to be poured. Large forms are attached to the PowerBraces and sealed with spray foam. Concrete is then poured into the forms and allowed to set. Once the forms are removed, a brand new poured wall is revealed.
Wall failure doesn't have to spell disaster for your home or wallet. Call Frank's Basement Systems today to schedule a free, no obligation estimate.
Paul had three cracks in his basement that were leaking water. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems to repair them.
Adam inspected the cracks and determined two could be repaired with FlexiSpan and one would need CarbonArmor Wall Stitches.
The FlexiSpan repairs consisted of a foam strip over the crack sealed by a special polyurethane sealant overtop. The CarbonArmor Wall Stitches are thin strips of carbon fiber used on the larger crack to prevent it from becoming wider.
Tineka had struggled with water in her basement for a long time. The water had caused damage to her walls and her belongings. She got fed up and decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a permanent solution.
Christian inspected the basement and confirmed a lot of the water was coming through the porous block walls. He recommended interior drainage, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a TripleSafe sump pump system.
The CleanSpace vapor barrier traps water coming through the walls. This system will prevent any water from entering the basement and causing damage. The water trapped by the CleanSpace drains into the drainage system and leads into the TripleSafe sump pump system.
The TripleSafe system has 3 sump pumps to ensure there is always a functioning pump in the basement. The first back up pump starts working if the first pump fails or is overwhelmed. The second back up pump is a battery back up pump in the event of a power outage.
The combination of CleanSpace, TripleSafe, and interior drainage will keep Tineka's basement dry all the time! Call today to schedule your free estimate.
Matty had just purchased an apartment building and noticed the floors were not level and the doors were sticking. He decided to have a free estimate done by Frank's Basement Systems to ensure the building was sound.
Frank Nati visited the building and found that two of the walls were failing. While it seemed to be a monumental task, the team at Frank's Basement Systems was up to the challenge.
The two failing walls were supplemented with the Stabl Lock wall system. PowerBraces are installed along the walls support the weight of the house and then tied together with rebar. Forms are put up on either side of the PowerBraces and new concrete walls are poured.
To protect the new walls, WaterGuard interior drainage and a SuperSump Plus sump pump system were installed to keep water out of the area.
Matty could now confidently rent out the building knowing the walls are stable thanks to Frank's Basement Systems.
Jacob and his wife had recently bought their home and were already having concerns about their basement. They had 3 wall cracks leaking water and an old sump pump. They wanted to be able to use their basement without fear of water damage. They decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate.
Donnie Spacone visited their home and confirmed the leaking cracks were a problem. Because of their future hopes for the space, he recommended a full basement waterproofing system. This includes a perimeter WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump system, BrightWall wall panels, SaniDry dehumidifier, as well as FlexiSpan to repair the cracks.
With this entire system installed by our veteran foreman Rob Sirotski, this basement is 100% protected against water and water vapor. Jacob can now begin to finish his basement or continue to use it as is.

Jan and Christine had a partially finished basement with cracks in the walls. These cracks were a sign of a larger problem: a shifting wall. They decided it was time to act now before the damage became worse. They called Frank's for a free estimate on their structural concerns.
Mike inspected their basement and recommended 6 Power Braces be installed along the shifting wall. The braces would serve to support the wall and actually straighten it over time.
In addition to the Power Braces, 6 cracks in the walls needed to be fixed prior to the basement being finished. FlexiSpan was used on all six to permanently fix the cracks and prevent water from leaking through them. As an extra measure, a full perimeter interior drainage system was also installed to protect against water and flooding.
With these repairs finished, Jan and Christine can fully finish their basement with the confidence their wall is supported and water won't ruin their work.
Kristeen and Joanne had two basement walls caving in and were concerned for the stability of their home. They called Franks Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate and to understand their repair options.
Frank Nati visited Kristeen and Joanne's home and inspected the walls in question. He recommended the 68' of wall be removed and rebuilt. In addition to new walls, Frank also recommended WaterGuard interior drainage be installed along the new walls.
Greg and his crew worked diligently through tough weather conditions to complete the job before winter hit. The walls were completed and WaterGuard was installed to ensure the basement stayed dry.
Kristeen and Joanne can now rest easy knowing their home's foundation is sturdy as it should be.
Don't let structural repairs scare you! Call us today for a free, no obligation estimate!
Allen heard the words no homeowner wants to hear: your house is being condemned for structural failure. The foundation of his Buffalo home was no longer considered strong enough to support the weight of the home. After receiving this news, he decided to call Frank's Basement Systems in the hopes his home could be saved.
Rick Pilarski visited the home and performed his inspection. He found the walls leaning in and makeshift supports in the crawl space made out of cinder blocks and pieces of lumber.
The answer to Allen's woes were helical piers. These piers were drilled down into the ground on the interior and exterior of the home. Brackets were installed to the footer of Allen's foundation and attached to the piers. The piers would now be taking the weight of the house instead of the foundation.
Thanks to the 23 long days of work by the Frank's team, Allen was able to keep his home and feel safe about its structure.
Over the years, Yvette had experienced repeat flooding in her basement. It typically happened when the drains at the street backed up and water typically reached ankle depth. Despite an unusually dry summer, she noticed her basement continued to flood. She needed a permanent solution to her problem before permanent damage was done. She decided enough was enough and called Frank's for a free, no obligation estimate.
Rick Pilarski performed his inspection of Yvette's basement and decided a 4 step solution was just what she needed.
The first step was install our patented WaterGuard drainage system around the entire 104 ft. perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is specifically designed not become blocked with foreign matter. To ensure the system is flowing properly, inspection points were installed every few feet.
The second step was to install BrightWall paneling on all the basement walls to trap water before it enters the basement. The patented BrightWall panels prohibit mold and mildew growth and clean with a wet rag. The panels trap the water and force it down into the WaterGuard system.
The next step was the installation of our patented TripleSafe system including a 1/3 horse power primary pump, a 1/2 horse power back up pump, and a battery backup pump. The WaterGuard system runs into the TripleSafe system to be pumped up and out of the basement.
The final step was to remove the water from the air with a patented SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Dry basement air is critical to the health of everyone in the home, and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier removes moisture from the air more efficiently than any other dehumidifier on the market.
Now Yvette never has to worry about her basement flooding again! Call us today to schedule your free, no obligation estimate!
As if a Buffalo winter doesn't present its own challenges, a car struck the corner of Daniel's house in the middle of January and caused serious structural damage. He contacted his insurance to file a claim for the broken wall, window, and floor joist. Once the paperwork had been taken care of, Daniel called Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate.
Mike Ciocca performed his inspection and designed a plan to return Daniel's home back to normal. His plan included rebuilding the broken wall from the footer up, installing support posts across the basement, and installing interior drainage.
Because of the extent of the damage to the wall, the concrete floor had to be broken so the footer could be replaced. While the floor was open, 49 feet of interior drainage was placed around the perimeter of the basement and 2 floor drains.
To help support the weight of the house, our crew installed a total of 7 support posts across the basement. These posts are installed into the concrete floor and will help take the weight of the house.
The cabinets and paneling were replaced and the basement looked better than it did before!
No matter the cause, Frank's Basement Systems will complete a free, no obligation estimate for all your basement concerns!
Alma had already had one of her foundation walls replaced in the past. Now it was time to have another one done. It had begun to fall inward and was only going to get worse. She called Frank's Basement Systems to come take a look.
Upon inspection, Rick agreed the only permanent solution for Alma was to have the entire wall replaced. The mortar had broken loose between the second and third layers of blocks causing the wall to buckle and fall inward.
The first step to a new wall is to remove the existing one. Our team placed jacks to support the weight of the house and began digging outside. Once the crew had dug down to the footer, they carefully took the wall down and removed all the old blocks. The wall was then rebuilt up to where the old wall had been.
As an extra layer of protection, a waterproof membrane and dimple board were attached to protect the new wall.
After seeing the finished work, Alma will be calling Frank's when it is time to replace the last wall!
Francis bought her home knowing it had a history of the basement flooding. While she had never seen it flood, she new there was a large amount of moisture in her basement at any given time. She decided to get a few quotes on what it would take to have a dry basement once and for all. One contractor told her they couldn't do the work she needed, but Frank's Basement Systems could.
She met with Ray Smith who recommended a multi part solution: drainage, wall panels, sump pump, and dehumidifier.
The first step in her solution was to hang our patented BrightWall panels on all of her walls. BrightWall traps moisture coming through the wall and forces it down to the floor. More than that, it brightens your whole space and cleans with a wet rag. It will also never grow mold!
The second step was to install our patented WaterGuard drainage system around the entire basement. WaterGuard and BrightWall work together to keep water from entering your basement. The water trapped by the BrightWall flows down to the WaterGuard system and into step 3: the UltraSump sump pump.
The UltraSump system will pump any water coming from the WaterGuard system or from the floor (i.e. hot water tank leak) up and out of the basement.
The last step in Francis' solution was a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona will remove 100 pints of water per day while using the same energy as a dehumidifier that only removes 40 pints per day.
No matter how water tries to come in, Francis is ready with her four part comprehensive solution from Frank's Basement Systems.
Regina decided to take down the paneling from the walls of her basement that had been there since she bought the house. They were peeling and sagging, so it seemed like the right time to finally tear them down and replace them with something nicer. Much to her surpise, the unsightly paneling was not her only problem. Years of moisture seeping through the walls had caused the blocks to crack, crumble, and shift. The sagging paneling was only a symptom of a much larger problem.
After checking local contractor reviews online, Regina decided to give Frank's a call for a free, no obligation estimate. Upon intitial inspection, Frank found more cracks than Regina initially thought. He recommended WaterGuard drainage around the perimeter of the basement, a TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and to repair the cracks in the walls.
After one day of digging, removing old clay drain pipes, and installation of our patented WaterGuard waterproofing system and TripleSafe sump pump system, Regina was well on her way to having a dry, usable basement.
Once all the concrete had hardened completely, Regina's walls were fixed and a new utility sink was installed by our plumbing division, Mr. Plumber. She could finally begin to use and enjoy her basement.
