If your crawl space is not insulated, fills with water when it rains, or has structural problems, we can help. The crawl space is a vital part of your home, but it is often neglected. For your crawl space to optimally perform it should be encapsulated so there is a barrier between the interior space and the ground below. The exposed wood beams should be free of any signs of rot or mold and the floor joists should be level with no signs of sagging.
Ideally, the crawl space should also be insulated, this will help with air quality and overall home efficiency. The crawl space shouldn’t have any signs of moisture as even the slightest amount of water can lead to mold growth, rot, and mildew. To ensure the long-term health of your home and to get rid of existing crawl space issues call or click today!
When the unfinished side of Mike’s basement was experiencing water issues, he had Frank’s Basement Systems come out and install a permanent waterproofing solution. So when the finished portion of his basement began to struggle with water seeping in after heavy rains, he knew exactly who to reach out to for help. The Design Specialist he had worked with last time came out and created the best waterproofing solution for the finished side of his basement!
Mike’s basement waterproofing project included installing the WaterGuard drainage system, a SuperSump, and an UltraSump battery backup system. After space was cleared along the walls and floors, the WaterGuard drainage system was installed to collect the water that had been leaking in without easily clogging, since it was installed outside the mud zone. That water then flows down to the SuperSump system, which pushes it up and away from the home with its Zoeller cast-iron pump, which can reliably handle high-volume pumping. But if Mike’s home ever lost power or the primary pump encountered an issue, the UltraSump battery backup system would kick on, providing several hours of additional pumping power and keeping his basement dry and protected until power was restored or the primary pump resumed operation.
Now there's no doubt that Mike can enjoy a completely dry and healthy basement! Frank's Basement Systems is so happy that we were able to go back out and help Mike with his water problems!
After moving into his new home, Rick noticed the room above the crawl space was always humid. He began to think that the humidity rising from the crawl space below was causing this problem in the room above. Before the humidity issues could take a toll on his new home, Rick reached out to Frank’s Basement Systems to schedule a free estimate. Our Design Specialist came out and created the perfect solution to address the moisture and humidity issues in Rick’s crawl space.
The main components of Rick’s crawl space project included SilverGlo Insulation, TerraBlock Insulation, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The SilverGlo insulation was installed all along the walls of the crawl space, while the TerraBlock insulation was installed on the floor. Both are made of inorganic materials that do not support mold growth, as they act as vapor barriers and insulation for the crawl space. Then, over the insulation, the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a thick, super durable liner designed to reduce moisture and humidity while also sealing out cold drafts, was rolled out and secured. What made the biggest difference was the addition of the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, since this small but powerful unit will keep the crawl space below 55% relative humidity, meaning mold, dust mites, and that muggy feeling don’t stand a chance.
Once the crew wrapped up the work in the crawl space, Rick was shocked by the instant impact their work had. The room above already felt less stuffy and humid thanks to the work the SaniDry was putting in below. Rick was so impressed with the work the team at Frank's Basement Systems had done that he was finally able to enjoy his new home!

Matthew F., from Orchard Park, New York, called into Frank's when he noticed water leaking into his basement through several cracks in his foundation wall. Our Design Specialist, Donnie, went out to Matthew's home and recommended that our team install a full perimeter drainage system with our patented WaterGuard drainage, leading to our powerful SuperSump sump pump system, which can remove up to 2,240 gallons of water from the basement per hour! Thanks to the hard work of our crew, Matthew will no longer be seeing water in his basement!
Jodi, a homeowner from Orchard Park, NY, called in when her cinderblock walls became so cracked that they started leaking water into her basement. Not only that, but water was leaking from her windows. Since Jodi works in her basement, she needed a permanent solution. Good thing she called the experts at Frank's! With almost 40 years of industry experience, we had the perfect solution.
Our crew came in and installed a perimeter drainage system with our patented WaterGuard, leading to our patented SuperSump Plus system, which can remove water from the basement at a rate of 2,600 gallons per hour.
Soloman, a homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, noticed water coming up through various cracks in his floor as well as from his walls. Our crew of experts came in and first, filled the cracks with Xypex, a crystalline solution that hardens when it comes in contact with water. Xypex is also flexible, so it can expand if any cracks continue to widen. We then installed a perimeter drainage system with our patented WaterGuard, leading to a powerful TripleSafe sump pump, that offers triple the protection against water so that Soloman can enjoy a water-free basement ALL the time.
Paul, a homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, noticed ground water come up through his existing sump pump as well as leak from a crack in the floor wall joint. Our crew came in and sealed the crack with our Xypex crystalline solution, a flexible sealant that hardens when it comes in contact with water. If the crack expands, the Xypex will not crack. Our crew also installed a perimeter drainage system around this homeowner's basement, preventing any water from touching his basement floor.
This homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, called in because they noticed water leaking into their basement along several hairline cracks in the corner where the wall and floor meet. Our crew came in and installed a sump pump into the corner the homeowner was having the water leakage issue, as they previous did not have one before.
This homeowner from Orchard Park, NY, called in because they noticed water leaking from various cracks along their basement walls. Our crew came in and installed Xypex, a crystalline solution that hardens upon contact with water. This solution is also flexible, so it can expand if the crack continues to widen.
This homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, called in because they had several cracks along their basement walls that would occasionally allow water seepage. They didn't just want the cracks filled, but they wanted their basement waterproofed so they never had this water problem again. Upon inspection, there were two major cracks that needed to be filled, so Frank's filled them with Xypex, a crystalline solution that forms hardened crystals upon contact with water. These tiny crystals expand into the depths of the crack so that water never comes through again.
After installing Xypex, our crew installed perimeter drainage with our patented WaterGuard drainage system. This homeowner will never worry about water in their basement again.
This homeowner had a concrete and stone crawl space with moisture issues. To address this, the space was encapsulated by first laying down drainage matting on the floor, then installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier over top. Then, our SilverGlo insulation was lined along the walls of the space.
Tom, a homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, had been dealing with persistent water seepage in his basement, which had recently been compounded by the discovery of a fracture in one of the walls. Concerned about the potential damage and eager to find a lasting solution, he decided to contact Frank's Basement Systems. A few days later, a team of professionals from Frank's Basement Systems arrived at Tom's residence. They conducted a thorough inspection of the basement, carefully examining the fracture in the wall and assessing the water seepage issue. Based on their findings, they presented their recommendations for a comprehensive waterproofing and repair solution.
To address the fracture in the wall, the team proposed the installation of Flexispan, a durable and flexible material that would effectively seal the crack, preventing further water intrusion and potential structural damage. Recognizing the need for a robust waterproofing system, they also recommended the installation of 54 feet of WaterGuard, a specially designed drainage system that would collect water and direct it away from the basement.
In addition to the WaterGuard system, the team suggested the installation of two WaterGuard Ports. These ports would allow for easy access to the system for maintenance and future inspections. Furthermore, they proposed the installation of a 7-foot trench drain to enhance the overall waterproofing capacity, ensuring efficient water diversion away from Tom's basement.
Tom expressed his gratitude to the team from Frank's Basement Systems for their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional workmanship. With the Flexispan repair and the comprehensive waterproofing system in place, he felt confident that his basement was now protected from water damage, and the structural integrity of the wall was preserved.
Nancy, a homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, had been dealing with persistent basement moisture issues for quite some time. Tired of constantly battling dampness and concerned about potential water damage, she decided to seek professional help. After hearing positive recommendations from friends and neighbors, Nancy reached out to Frank's Basement Systems.
A few days later, a team of experts from Frank's Basement Systems arrived at Nancy's residence. They carefully assessed the basement, evaluating the extent of the moisture problem and identifying the best course of action. After a thorough examination, they presented their findings and recommended a comprehensive waterproofing solution. To address Nancy's concerns, the team proposed the installation of a SuperSump Plus Sump Pump system. This high-performance sump pump system would effectively collect and remove any water that entered the basement, preventing potential flooding and water damage. In addition to the sump pump, they suggested the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control the humidity levels and reduce the risk of mold growth.
Nancy expressed her gratitude to the team from Frank's Basement Systems for their professionalism, efficiency, and exceptional workmanship. With the SuperSump Plus Sump Pump system and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in place, Nancy could finally breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that her basement was protected from potential water damage and that the risk of mold growth had been significantly reduced.
Marcy, a homeowner in Orchard Park, NY, was growing increasingly concerned about the moisture issues in her basement and crawl space. The constant dampness not only caused an unpleasant odor but also raised concerns about potential damage to her home's foundation. Determined to find a reliable solution, Marcy reached out to Frank's Basement Systems.
A few days later, a team of professionals from Frank's Basement Systems arrived at Marcy's residence. They carefully inspected both the basement and crawl space, noting the extent of the moisture issue and assessing the best course of action. After a thorough evaluation, they presented their findings and recommended a comprehensive waterproofing solution.
The team proposed the installation of 32 feet of perforated pipe in the crawl space. This pipe would collect any water that entered the space and effectively drain it away, preventing moisture buildup. Additionally, they suggested the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control the humidity levels in the basement. The dehumidifier would reduce the risk of mold growth and create a healthier living environment.
Understanding the importance of proper drainage, the team also recommended the installation of a WellDuct window drain. This drain would direct water away from the basement windows, preventing leaks and further water intrusion. Marcy was impressed by the team's expertise and agreed to proceed with their recommendations.
Thanks to Frank's Basement Systems, Marcy's home in Orchard Park, NY, was now equipped with reliable waterproofing solutions that would ensure long-term protection and peace of mind.
As Rachelle sat in her living room one rainy evening in Orchard Park, NY, she couldn't help but notice the dampness creeping into her basement. Over time, this issue had become increasingly problematic, and Rachelle realized she needed professional assistance to address the waterproofing and structural concerns in her home. After doing some research and hearing positive reviews, she decided to call Frank's Basement Systems. A few days later, a team of experts from Frank's Basement Systems arrived at Rachelle's residence. The team conducted a detailed evaluation of the basement, meticulously examining the foundation and assessing the extent of the water intrusion.
After careful consideration, Rachelle agreed to the recommended solution: the installation of eight Helical piers to address the structural issues and ensure long-term stability. The team explained that these piers would be installed deep into the ground to reach stable soil, effectively transferring the weight of the foundation and preventing any further movement. In addition to the structural repairs, they would also implement a comprehensive waterproofing system to keep Rachelle's basement dry and protected.
Rachelle could finally breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that her home was secure and protected for years to come.
Chris was frustrated by the water issues in his Orchard Park basement. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a new system to keep his basement dry.
Joe visited Chris' home and inspected the basement. He determined the problems were that the basement had two low spots and the walls leaked onto the floor. The solution included WaterGuard interior drainage system, BrightWall panels, and two sump pump systems. The WaterGuard and BrightWall work together to trap the water as it enters through the walls and prevent it from collecting on the floor. The water then flows to one of the two sump pump systems to be removed from the house.
Allan was tired of a wet basement in his Orchard Park home. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a permanent solution. Frank visited Allan's home and inspected the basement. He found the water was entering at the walls and designed a system specifically for Allan.
This new system included 120' of WaterGuard interior drainage and BrightWall paneling, as well as a SuperSump sump pump system. The BrightWall and WaterGuard collects water and directs it to the SuperSump sump pump system to be removed from the basement.
After three days, Allan's basement is completely and permanently waterproofed.
Peter had some concerns about water in the basement of his Orchard Park home. After speaking with a representative at the Hamburg Home Show, he decided to get a free estimate on a comprehensive solution.
Dave visited Peter's home and determined a full perimeter drainage system, wall support system, dehumidifier, and sump pump system would be the best solution for his home.
WaterGuard interior drainage will catch water from all directions and is designed to minimize clogging with sediment and debris. CarbonArmor bands are super thin, super strong carbon fiber bands that will prevent any further movement in the wall. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will remove 100 pints of water per day from the basement and drain directly into the sump pump. A TripleSafe sump pump system will remove all water from the basement and keep the space protected in all conditions.
With a new system in place, Peter can rest easy knowing his home is protected.
Bruce's basement had been wet for many years. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for an estimate for a sump pump installation.
Dave Hennessey inspected Bruce's basement and determined a sump pump would not be sufficient to dry out the basement. A full interior waterproofing system would be the only way to keep Bruce's basement dry.
To solve Bruce's water problem, 122 feet of WaterGuard interior drainage was installed around his whole basement and connected to a SuperSump Plus sump pump system.
The WaterGuard and SuperSump systems work together 24/7 to ensure Bruce's basement stays dry no matter the weather conditions.
Leah and Rick had a wet crawl space they wanted to insulate and waterproof. They called Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate on transforming their space.
Frank Nati inspected the crawl space and designed a plan to seal out water and outside air for good.
The first step was to dry out the space and keep water out forever. Drainage matting was installed on the floor to allow water to flow freely and prevent the crawl space liner from resting directly on the ground.
Next was to install insulation on the walls. Our SilverGlo insulation is specifically designed for crawl spaces and provides an unbroken insulation and moisture barrier across the walls of the crawl space for maximum efficiency.
The last step was to install the CleanSpace antimicrobial vapor barrier. This final component will not tear and will keep water and pests out of the crawl space forever.
Rich and Leah now have the piece of mind that their crawl space is permanently protected against the elements.
Wayne had large cracks in the walls of his poured foundation. They were leaking and causing water to collect in his basement. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate.
Donnie visited Wayne's home and inspected the cracks. He confirmed they were the source of the water in the basement. Donnie had the perfect solution for Wayne's water problem: BrightWall and WaterGuard.
Because of the size and multi-directional nature of the cracks, covering them with BrightWall panels was the best option. BrightWall will stop the water from entering the basement. They are durable, washable, and will not support the growth of mold.
WaterGuard interior drainage was installed along all the walls with cracks. Our patented drainage will catch water from the walls, floor, and ground and directs it to a sump pump.
Not only is Wayne's water problem solved, but he no longer has to look at unsightly cracks in his walls. Call Frank's today to schedule a free, no obligation estimate.
Sally had work done at her previous home by Frank's Basement Systems, so when the basement of her new house started to leak, she knew who to call. The difference this time was that her new home had a radon system in place.
Frank Nati inspected her basement and confirmed she needed a drainage system and sump pump. Because her home had radon, it was difficult to waterproof. Despite her unique situation, Frank was able to design a drainage system to help Sally.
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from limestone rocks. For homes built in areas with radon, a pipe is installed to vent the gas out of the home. When it comes to waterproofing, special precautions must be taken to ensure the water can flow into the drainage, but radon can't come up.
Cactus Board is a special drainage product that does exactly this. The dimples on the Cactus Board allows water to flow from both the walls and floor.
To finish her waterproofing system, a TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to get rid of water collected by the Cactus Board.
Frank's Basement Systems has many years of experience waterproofing basements with all kinds of special situations. Call today to schedule a free estimate on your custom system.
Craig had multiple cracks in his basement walls. Some of the cracks had been unsuccessfully repaired in the past and all the cracks were leaking water. The leaks were a serious concern as Craig had fiberglass insulation hung on his walls. Left unaddressed, the water leaking through would cause mold growth in the insulation. He decided to call Frank's for a free estimate.
Mike Ciocca inspected the cracks and agreed with Craig that the cracks needed to be permanently fixed. He recommended the FlexiSpan repair system for all four cracks in the basement. The multiple layers of a FlexiSpan repair ensures the crack is sealed and no moisture can enter into the basement.
In one day, all of Craig's cracks were permanently repaired and his insulation was safe from moisture.
