Now that Denise and the crew from Frank's were absolutely certain that Denise's home was fully structurally sound, it came to light that Denise's waterproofing system for her basement was not up to par! Folks, a bucket in the ground is not an efficient, nor effective Sump Pump!

Josh had some concerns about possible structural issues with his home. He called Frank's Basement Systems for an assessment on his home. Joe inspected the basement and found signs of both water issues and and foundation problems. He designed a system to fix both sets of problems permanently. 

WaterGuard interior drainage was installed around the entire basement to collect water from inside and outside of the basement. BrightWall panels were installed on all the walls to trap water coming through the walls. A SuperSump Plus sump pump system was installed to remove all the water from the new waterproofing system. To address the structural issues, four SmartJacks were installed as additional support for the main beam of the house.

Mike inspected her crawl space and determined the CleanSpace encapsulation system would be perfect for Susan's crawl space. The first part of the system is the dimpled drainage matting on the dirt floor to allow water to drain away. The second part of the system is the thick, antimicrobial, tear-resistant vapor barrier installed over the drainage matting and up to the floor joists. These two components work together to allow water to drain out of the crawl space and prevent moisture from reaching the wood structure.
