Leaky Crawlspace
When switching out his seasonal decor, Patrick discovered water all throughout his crawlspace. This was not ideal for a crawlspace used as a storage area!
Cardboard To Keep Moisture Out
To keep moisture out of Patrick's basement, he had shoved a cardboard box under the door. So if moisture seeped in, the boxes would absorb it, making cleanup after heavy rains easier.
Crack Fixed In Crawlspace
This leaky crack won't be an issue anymore after it was plugged and patched using an Xypex system. Then a panel of our BrightWall was added on top, and the WaterGuard drainage system was added below, so any potential moisture is directed out of the crawlspace, leaving it dry!
Drainage Implemented in Basement
By adding the WaterGuard drainage system, any water seeping is now effectively collected and directed down to the sump pump system!
Sealed in System
The drainage system is nearly discreet once sealed in with concrete! With a clean, finished appearance, Patrick won't have to worry about an unsightly drain around his basement.
Easy Clean Out Ports
Along the perimeter drainage system, several access ports are added. These ports provide a spot to allow for inspection, flood testing, and flushing out Patrick's system during his annual maintenance!
TrenchDrain For Surface Moisture
To capture that surface water seepage from under the basement door, we added the TrenchDrain! It's a drainage channel with a removable, flush-fitting grated cover that easily integrates with the WaterGuard drainage system.
