If you have an older house, there's a good chance you've noticed the floors on the first floor may roll or dip in some spots. Maybe you've even noticed a bounce to your floors or a gap between the walls and floors. These are all signs of sagging floors caused by foundation settlement.
While there are many solutions to sagging floors, many only treat the symptoms and not the cause. Solutions like shimming the floor joists back to their original positions or placing light duty jack posts may seem appealing for their relatively small price tag and quick installation, but they will need to be replaced or redone.
But fear not! There is a permanent solution for sagging floors! It's called The SmartJack System.
Our patented SmartJack System starts with a solid base created by excavating 2 cubic feet of soil where the jack will go and replacing it with concrete. The custom-engineered SmartJack post base is then placed on top to hold the post in position and distribute weight evenly. A high strength galvanized steel tube is then cut to length and connected to a support beam. The support beam and floor joists are lifted back to level, thus removing the bounce and roll in your floors!
