Challenge

A home in Tonawanda was sinking and needed to be stabilized using foundation piers. Due to the proximity of the neighbor's house to the wall where the piers needed to be installed, exterior piers were not an option.

Solution

Installing piers from inside the house was the only way.

Scott and his experienced crew dug out the area where the piers were going to be installed and exposed the foundation footer. The crew used a powerful drive head to drill the ten piers into stable soil below the house.

The basement walls had become damaged due to the home sinking over the years. A total of 12 cracks had formed in the poured walls. These were all repaired with a Xypex injection to ensure they wouldn't leak.

A long arduous process, but necessary nonetheless.

Great work by Scott and his crew!
