Recap of Frank's Week of Giving

Last week, our team here at Frank's Basement Systems had a busy week out and about in the community! We had projects up in Rochester and an event here in Buffalo. With a week this packed, we decided to dub it Frank's Week of Giving!

The week kicked off with Frank heading up to Rochester to help the Rochester Red Wings close out their season. He had a ball with Otto and the Pirate Toy Fund! For every home run this season, we donated $50 to this fantastic organization, and we just hit our $2,500 goal! A huge thank you to the Rochester Red Wings for swinging for such a great cause and helping us support kids across Rochester.

Next up, our Rochester team traded the office for a morning at Foodlink's donation center. The team spent time sorting items before distributing them to families and communities in need. Thank you to the amazing team at Foodlink for letting us join in on giving back to the greater Rochester area! Together we sorted 20,000 lbs of food, which is enough to provide 1,600 meals to families across the community.

Finally, we closed out our week on foot, walking for loved ones, siblings, families, partners, friends, neighbors, youths, veterans, construction workers, and ourselves. The Out of the Darkness Buffalo Walk raises funds and awareness to support research, advocacy, and educational programs in schools, workplaces, and communities across Western NY. Thank you to everyone who supported and joined our team for this year's walk in Buffalo! Every step helps us find more ways to support those struggling with their mental health and to fight back against suicide.

This week reminds us what it means to be part of a community. We like to take time out of the office to work with neighbors, families, and causes we stand behind. Thank you to everyone who made Frank's Week of Giving possible, and we're already looking forward to finding new ways to give back in the months ahead!
