Open Sump Pit
Ben's basement had a spot for a sump pump, but it never actually had one installed! So as water seeped in, there was no way for it to be pushed up and out of the basement.
Severe Water Intrusion Damage
As water seeped in over time, it wrecked Ben's basement in parts he could and could not see! After removing the bottom of the basement landing, we discovered a wet, musty mess that had been growing for a while!
Sealed in WaterGuard Drainage System
Underneath the fresh concrete is the WaterGuard drainage system, which is installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This keeps the drainage system above the "mud zone," where it could easily clog!
A Truly Super System Installed
The SuperSump has been engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even during heavy water intrusion! It's capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement!
Small But Mighty Dehumidifier Added
Humidity and musty smells won't be an issue for Ben anymore, thanks to the addition of the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. This small but mighty system not only acts as a dehumidifier but also as an air purifier, ensuring mold and dust mites won't stand a chance in this basement!
