Moisture Damage in the Basement
Throughout this walk-in basement, where the walls and floors meet, there were areas that indicated that moisture had built up in the space. When moisture and water build up, there is a chance for mold and mildew growth, as well as damage to the concrete floor and walls.

WaterGuard Installation Along the Basement Perimeter
To capture that moisture and water coming into the basement, we installed a WaterGuard drainage system. This system sits below the floor, right where the walls and floor meet, to capture any moisture and keep it off the basement floors.

Trench Drain for Basement Doors
Since this basement is a walk-out, there was a door that led right outside. In front of it, a TrenchDrain was installed to capture any water that could come and direct it to the perimeter drainage system.

New Sump Pump and Dehumidifier Systems Installed
A new SuperSump sump pump system and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier were both installed. The Sedona will work to remove the moisture from the air and drain it into the sump pump. Then the sump pump will pump out all of the water drained into it from the Sedona and from what the WaterGuard drainage system collects.
