Water Damage To Basement Floors
Due to water constantly seeping in and sitting on the floor over time, the floor developed signs of water damage. The darker marks and slightly deteriorated look of the floor were clear indicators that water was in this basement!
Our WaterGuard Drainage System
Along the whole perimeter of this basement, we installed our WaterGuard drainage system. It sits right where the floor and walls meet, capturing the moisture seeping in and directing it down to the sump pump.
WaterGuard Ports Installed Throughout The System
Throughout the WaterGuard drainage system, ports are installed. These ports allow homeowners and service technicians to access the WaterGuard for clean-outs, in case it becomes clogged after the system is enclosed with a layer of concrete.
Upgraded Sump Pump Installed
This basement previously had a sump pump, but it was upgraded to a SuperSump Plus sump pump system. The new system will be able to reliably handle the increased volume of water flowing to it, rather than onto the basement floor!
