Crack Running Through Garage
To help follow and trace the crack in the wall, Bob had spray-painted over it. This helped our Design Specialist to easily follow and see how deep the crack was.
Installing The Helical Pier Post
After the space was cleared, the steel Helical Piers were turned down into the soil until they reached the required depths. They are the strongest components and are responsible for transferring the weight of your structure to solid, load-bearing soil.
Bracket Attached To Foundation
Once the pier is screwed down to the required depth, a bracket is attached to the top. That bracket is then secured to the foundation base to stabilize the home and prevent further settlement.
Clean Stone For Backfill
To fill the hole used for the Helical Pier installation, clean, fresh stone was used. This will help create a level surface for our team to pour concrete over, resulting in a smooth floor for Bob once again.
Sealing It In
To finish off this interior helical pier, a smoother and cleaner layer of concrete was added. Now this Helical Pier is secured in place, helping to continue to stabilize Bob's home!
