Walls Cracked In Basement
Along with the water seepage, several cracks were found in the basement wall. At first, they were just small hairline cosmetic cracks but soon turned into leaky messes all throughout the basement!
System Sealed In
After the drainage system is in place, it's sealed over with a fresh layer of concrete! This helps create a smooth, seamless look for the work our team completed.
Comerical Drainage System
Since this was a commercial business, we needed to ensure that the proper drainage systems were installed! A perforated drainage system was added all along the perimeter of the basement to collect any moisture that seeps in
Sump Pump Installed
All of the water in the basement is now collected and directed into the newly installed SuperSump Plus. This system includes a top-rated 1/3 HP Zoeller cast-iron pump capable of pumping up to 2,280 gallons per hour!
Prepping The Space
Step one to this project was breaking out the floor! We do this to clear space for our team to install the basement waterproofing system.
Long Term Water Damage
Water seepage wasn't a new issue for the basement below this business! Even though it wasn't really a commonly used spaced it was definitely an area of concern for this owner!
Feed Lines For Drainage
Since this basement was so large, with the lowest point being in the middle, the perfect spot for the sump pump, feed lines were also installed. These lines help ensure that moisture flows properly to the sump, where it can be pushed up and out of the basement.
Cracks In Basement Wall Repaired
Any cracks in the basement wall were sealed and plugged using an Xypex system, so water won't stand a chance. Plus, we added the CleanSpace Wall System over the repair to help create a clean look to this repair
