Dark and Dirty Crawl Space
Falling insulation, spider webs, and debris created an unhealthy and dirty mess under Mark's home. Having a space like this under his home can start to affect other areas, including the air!
Open Crawl Space Access
There was no good way for Mark to really seal off his crawl space before. It used to have a plastic cover over it, but moisture and the freezing winter temperatures still managed to get in and wreak havoc on this crawl space.
Proper Insulation Added
To ensure this space maintained a more consistent temperature inside and kept cold or hot, humid air out, adding SilverGlo Wall insulation was a must for Mark's crawl space. It creates a complete vapor barrier while also providing an industry-leading R-11 insulation layer.
Insulation For The Crawl Space Floor
We didn't stop at the walls for insulation and added TerraBlock Floor insulation as well! It's a durable floor installation designed for crawl spaces that provides a puncture-resistant vapor barrier.
SmartSump For Drainage
To really ensure that water was effectively pushed up and out of Mark's crawl space, we installed a SmartSump. This specific sump pump was designed for tight crawl spaces and remains a reliable solution for keeping them dry.
Vapor Barrier To Keep Moisture Out
The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier not only helps make Mark's crawl space look brighter and cleaner but also reduces moisture and humidity and seals out cold drafts.
New Crawl Space Door
We removed the old materials and installed new ones to effectively seal off Mark's crawl space. To really ensure that outside air, moisture, or critters couldn't get into this newly encapsulated crawl space, an EverLast Crawl Space Door was installed.
