All the old, damaged beams were replaced with new ones! This helps to ensure the home and floors above stay supported for years to come without worry.
Crazy Sump Pump Set Up
A milk crate as a sump liner was not the best option for an effective sump pump system setup. It may have helped create a sump pit, but it didn't really keep this crawl space dry.
New and Improved Sump Pump System
Lastly, that old milk crate sump pump system was wapped out for a SmartSump, which has been specially designed for tight spaces like these! It collects and removes moisture flowing through the crawl space and ensures it's pumped up and out!
Insuation For The Crawl Space
To help keep the temperature a bit more regulated and seal space from outside moisture and air, we added SilverGlo Wall Insulation all throughout. Plus, it's made completely of inorganic materials and will not absorb moisture or support the growth of mold, rot, or mildew.
