Flooding Crawl Space
As soon as you enter this crawl space, you step into a puddle of water! As water sits and lingers, it can lead to rot, mold growth, or even structural problems, which could extend to every part of Mathew's home.
Overflowing Sump Pump
Check out the sump pump! It was clear it had seen better days. The pit was shallow, open, and filled to the brim.
Adding In Interior Drainage
The first step in Matt's crawl space was installing proper drainage around it. Now, if water seeps in, it's collected and sent to the sump pump instead of seeping onto the floor.
Preventing Water Buildup
As water seeps in, it can pool on the crawl space floor and become trapped beneath a vapor barrier rather than draining away. So by adding the CleanSpace Drainage Matting, it helps to channel that lingering water straight to the drainage system.
Crawl Space Moisture Barrier
Water vapor stays out, and warm, dry air stays in now with the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier! And with its bright white finish, it makes it easy to see that the crawl space is free of mold, insects, and dirt.
Upgraded Sump Pump System
Water won't be sticking around in Matt's crawl space after we installed the SuperSump Plus and a battery backup system. Now, any water that enters can be sent packing: up, out, and away!
