Water-Stained Walls
This wasn't a design choice but a warning sign! The brown block outlining the foundation blocks was due to the dirt, minerals, and water brought in, and it stuck around long after the moisture dried up!
Damaged Installation
When moisture seeps into a space, it gets into every nook, corner, and even the insulation! As the fiberglass insulation soaked up the water seeping in, it started to sag and pull away, making it less than effective in Dennis's crawl space!
Crawl Space Designed Installation
It was out with the old installation and in with the SilverGlo Wall Installation. This rigid foam insulation not only helps keep the space warm by keeping cold air out but also acts as a vapor barrier, holding back moisture and humidity from making their way in!
Laying the Foundation
Every great barrier needs an equally great foundation first! So we started by laying down the CleanSpace Dimple Board, and thanks to its design and the channels throughout, water won't sit and collect in one spot. Plus, if Dennis has to move around in the crawl space, it adds a bit of cushioning!
Wrapping It All Up
Check out Dennis's finished crawl space after we installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier! It also helps keep outside air and moisture out, and it makes the space look clean and bright.
