I have drainage, but my basement still floods!
Challenge
Just because there is an exisiting drainge system in your home, doesn't mean you're safe from water entering your basement. Solution
The first problem was visible upon entering the basement: no sump pump. Without a sump pump, drainage doesn't help much. If water does manage to drain out of the basement, it will go directly into the soil below and around your house causing soil erosion.
