Severe Water Seepage
The water wasn't just slowly seeping into Connor's and Danielle's basement but rather pouring in! To help clean it up, they were using a shop vac, but that wasn't a real fix for the issue.
Water On Finished Basement Floors
Water wasn't only seeping in on the unfinished side but also on the finished side. With so much water seeping in and pooling on the wood, it began to soften and warp. Not something you want with hardwood!
CleanSpace Wrapped on Lower Wall
On the lower section of the wall, the drywall was carefully removed and then covered with CleanSpace Wall System. This system will help ensure that any water seepage is directed down into the drainage system below.
New Perimeter Drainage System
With water directed down from the BrightWall Panels and moisture seeping in from the ground, the best solution to capture all of this water was the WaterGuard drainage system. So, under that fresh layer of concrete is this almost discreet drainage system, working to capture water and keep Connor and Danielle's floors dry!
Down To The Sump
Before this couple moved in, a TripleSafe was already installed. But now that all the new waterproofing products are installed, it will work even harder to push water up and out of Connor's and Danielle's basement!
