Broken and Cracked Cover
The older cover on Jane's window well wasn't helping the situation at all! It was cracked, so if it rained, the window well would fill up.
Minor Sign of Water Damage
That water had nowhere to go outside, so it began to seep in under hydrostatic pressure. With that water coming in, the fiberglass on the walls became ruined, and small puddles began to form on the ground.
Overgrown Window Well
Once our crew removed the old lid, they found a very green surprise inside! This window well had become home to what you would call a mini garden!
Upgraded Window Well
We replaced the old window well with a SunHouse Window Well! It's made from durable, high-strength plastic. Plus, it has a solid base that will help keep weeds from growing on the window well floor like they did before!
Window Well Duct Added
Now, to keep water from seeping back into Jane's basement, a WellDuct was installed. It's designed to connect the base of the window well to an interior drainage system, preventing a water-filled window well from flooding the basement.
