Old and Neglected Basement
This basement had definitely seen better days and was not a priority for the old homeowners. Water had seeped in, damaging multiple areas of the basement, creating a gross, uninviting space.
Effective Interior Driange Added
The WaterGuard drainage system was installed to capture water that seeps into the basement. This subfloor drainage system will effectively capture moisture and be sealed over, so it's hardly visible. This means Vanessa could still install flooring without fearing it would hinder the system.
Bridght and Beautiful Walls
The dark and dingy basement walls are a thing of the past now that we installed BrightWall panels. They not only help transform the space's look but also create an effective moisture and vapor barrier.
Two New Systems
Two new systems were added to help finish off this basement transformation. First, the SuperSump was installed to collect water from the Waterguard and push it up and out of the basement. At the same time, the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier will eliminate the musty, muggy feeling that has been lingering in Vanessa's basement!
