Hairline Wall Crack
This long hairline crack in John's foundation may not have looked like a big concern, but once water started seeping out, he knew it wasn't just a cosmetic crack.
Crack Pluged and Patched
To repair the crack and prevent water from continuing to seep out, we used the Xypex Patch'n Plug system. It's a fast-setting hydraulic cement compound that stops flowing water in seconds and is used to seal cracks.
Finished Repair
Once the Xypex is dry, we installed a BrightWall panel with a strip of WaterGuard drainage. They not only help create a cleaner look for the repair but also ensure that any future moisture seepage is drained down and into the home's current drainage system, not into John's basement.
