Water Seepage Ruined Finished Basement
The water seepage had forced Ryan to remove several planks due to damage, leaving a messy, hazardous space in the basement. He tried using a towel as a temporary solution to soak up water in the areas with the most seepage.
Upgraded Drainage System Installed
We used the WaterGuard drainage system because it's installed on top of the home's footer, right where the floor and wall meet. So it can effectively capture water seepage from the ground and walls without clogging the mud zone below!
Connected to Existing Sump Pump
We were able to tie the WaterGuard drainage system into Ryan's home's existing sump pump. So now, as water collects in the drainage system, it can easily flow into the sump pump and be pumped up and out of the basement!
Ready for Wall Restoration
Once everything was installed, the last step was to seal it in place with a fresh layer of concrete. After the concrete dries and sets, Ryan can finish his basement without fear of seepage!
