Leaky Basement Windows
These windows were made for basements, not submarines! So as the water built up outside in the window well, it would push its way in, creating streaks of water all down Frank's basement walls.
Previously Repaired Wall Crack
Right in the corner of Frank's basement, he had a leaky crack that he DIY'ed a fix for using a rubber cement he found at a local hardware store. While this solution worked great at first, it didn't hold up over time, as water started trickling out again.
Basement Wall Crack Repair Completed
A long-lasting solution was implemented to fix the leaky crack in the corner of Frank's basement! We repaired the crack using an Xypex solution, then added BrightWall and the WaterGuard drainage below to direct any potential moisture seepage to the sump pump system.
Entryway Drain System
To prevent water from flowing into Frank's basement, we installed a TrenchDrain. This system offers a grated opening to collect surface water and is compatible with our other drain systems!
Drainage Added For Windows
The WellDuct is a vertical extension of the WaterGuard drainage system. It will help drain any water collected in the window well and help it flow into the WaterGuard drainage system before the window can leak!
Complete Basement Drainage
Along with the TrenchDrain, the WaterGuard drainage system was installed along the perimeter of Frank's basement. This subfloor drainage system easily collects any groundwater seeping in while remaining nearly discreet after fresh concrete is laid.
Upgraded Sump Pump System
No waterproofing system would be complete without an upgraded sump pump! That's why Frank had us install a SuperSump Plus to help ensure water is effectively collected and then pushed up and out of his basement!
