Water on Basement Floor
Water was slowly but surely making its way to Mary's sump pump along the floor and through the boxes. This is never an ideal situation in any basement!
Complicated Sump System
Mary had a sump pump system in place, but it was older and created an open, exposed pit in the basement. This always left Mary a bit nervous about the possibility of tripping or dropping something into it.
Drain Line Added
To connect the drainage system from under the stairs to the sump, we implemented a drain line across the basement. We used the StarPipe to collect and draw in groundwater, filter out sediment, and direct it away from Mary's foundation to the sump pump.
