Leaky Basement Walls
Water was no stranger to Jerffreys' basement! It had been seeping in, leaving wet spots all over his basement floor.
New Drainage System Installed
Right where the basement floor and wall meet, the WaterGuard drainage system is installed. It is installed below the floor slab and rests on top of the foundation footing to keep it out of the "mud zone," where drains typically clog.
Sealed In System
After the system is installed in Jeffrey's basement, it's sealed over with concrete. It's nearly discreet, with just the top of the system's wall flange visible so that any water leaking from the walls will move down and behind the flange.
Upgraded Sump Pump
When picking a sump pump system, having a submersible pump like the Zoeller one in this SuperSump Plus is the ideal solution. This allows Jeffrey's system to have an airtight lid to keep debris from the floor from entering the sump pit.
