Moisture Seepage in Basement
Water had slowly been seeping into Katie's basement for some time now. She couldn't tell if it was coming from the walls or the ground, but she just knew she wanted the space waterproofed.
Prepping the Basement
Before any work can get done, the crew takes time to line the space with clear plastic. This helps to reduce any dust making its way up the stairs and into Katie's home.
Clean Durable Wall Covering
If any water seeps through the basement walls, it's now directed downward into the WaterGuard drainage system thanks to the CleanSpace Wall Covering. This bright white wall covering is super durable and made of an antimicrobial material, so mold and mildew won't grow.
Entry Surface Drain Added
With a direct walk-out to the backyard in Katie's basement, it was key to add a TrenchDrain in front of the stairs. So if any water seeps down from the stairs, this system will capture surface water and help it flow to the sump pump.
Sealed in Perimeter Drainage System
Water is now captured and sent to the sump pump thanks to the discreet WaterGuard drainage system. It's installed under the floor and sealed over with concrete to create a barely there appearance while still working hard to capture moisture!
