Effects of Water Intrusion
Water seepage wasn't a new problem for Shelia and Patrick! But with the recent weather, the problem had only become worse, with more moisture seeping in along the edges of the basement, creating a damp and musty space perfect for mold!
Clean Stone To Help With the Drainage System
Around the WaterGuard drainage system, clean stone was added. Having the stone around the system helps water seep in, rather than bogging or getting stuck in mud and dirt that can typically be found around older drainage systems.
Sealed In and Ready
A key feature of our WaterGuard drainage system is that it's nearly discreet but still accessible to service. This is because we install it on top of the home's footer and then seal it under fresh concrete while installing access ports throughout to easily maintain the system!
Upgraded Sump Pump System
Shelia's and Patrick's old sump pump system was upgraded to a SuperSump Plus. As water is collected, it flows to the sump pump, which effectively pumps it up and out of their basement thanks to the system's powerful cast-iron Zoeller pump!
