Obvious Water Seepage Issues
After clearing out some things from around his basement, Ken discovered some staining along the wall. What made him realize that it was water issues, not just concrete discoloration, was the efflorescence, or the chalky white powder left on the wall.
Old Sump Pump Setup
A bucket as a sump pump liner? Not the best idea! Plus, if this kicked on, it would pump water out onto the floor instead of up and out of the basement.
Implementing a Drainage Solution
To ensure water from that problem spot reached the sump pump, a new drainage system needed to be installed. Even with several obstacles in the way, we implemented a drainage solution that would effectively capture water without any worries!
Sealed and Ready System
When our team was ready, we laid down fresh concrete to lock this solution in place! This system is in place and ready to ensure Ken's basement stays dry!
Sump Pump System Was Upgraded
The DIY sump pump setup Ken had in his basement was replaced with a real, reliable SuperSump Plus! This system will collect that water and push it up, out, and away from the home thanks to a powerful Zoeller pump and a proper discharge line.
