Hiding Basement Wall Crack
After cutting and folding back the insulation, we finally found the source of friction for Marlene! The large crack spanned from the ceiling to the floor and was slowly seeping water all down and over the basement floor.
Prepping The Area
Before anything can be applied to the crack, the first step is to prep and clean the area. This ensures the repair we install in Marlene's basement is effective and long-lasting!
Bright New Addition To The Repair
The Xypex system is placed in the crack to plug and patch it, but to really give a clean finished look, we add a panel of our BrightWall. Now, any potential moisture seepage is directed down into the system below.
Additional Drainage Implemented
Adding a strip of the WaterGuard drainage system ensures that any water seepage directed down is collected and flows into the home's current system. This ensures Marlene has a dry basement!
