Water Seeping All Around
Down in Minesh's basement, water was making its way in, creating small streams throughout the space. These streams eventually led to the sump pump, but it wasn't the best route there!
Damage to Finished Basement Side
Water wasn't only making its way into the unfinished part of Meinesh's basement but had been seeping underneath the floors in the finished section. They had to rip up the damaged floors, and undrath discovered wet spots all along the edges.
New Interior Drainage System
With a new drainage system around the perimeter of the basement, they no longer have to worry about streams flowing through it. It sits nestled right at the floor-wall joint, so as water comes in, it's captured before it can make its way through the basement.
Drainage System Added to Finished Side As Well
The drainage system was also implemented throughout the finished side as well. To ensure it's installed properly, we rough-cut the walls to expose that joint so the system can be installed and concreted to ensure it works just right!
Newly Installed Sump Pump
Given how large this basement was, we added a second sump pump system. This SuperSump Plus ensures that water that seeps in is pushed up and out of the basement!
Second Sump Pump Upgraded
The open, exposed sump on the unfinished side of Minesh's basement was also upgraded to a SuperSump Plus. Having the two powerful pumps in place ensures one won't become overwhelmed and fail, leading to a wet disaster!
