Open and Exposed Sump Pump
Even though the pump in Dan's basement worked, he never loved the way it looked. Having an exposed crock or a make-shift cover just wasn't an ideal solution for Dan.
Failed Repairs
In the past, Dan had worked with others to help repair some water issues he had been having. But over time, those repairs didn't hold, and water began seeping back into the basement.
Making Space For Something Better
Before we can place any systems in the ground, the crew needs to make space. We use a series of tools to create a trench around the basement so the drainage system can fit snugly at the wall-floor junction.
Brighter Basement Walls
Water seepage through the basement walls was a huge issue for Dan's basement! Adding the BrightWall not only helps create a better-looking space but also provides an effective moisture and vapor barrier.
Drainage System All Throughout The Basement
Where that trench was created along the basement, we added the WaterGuard drainage system with a vapor barrier strip over top. Adding in that strip over the tops helps with water as the concrete dries!
Sump Pump to Ensure A Dry Basement
The SuperSump Plus was exactly what Dan had been wanting! It contains a powerful pump and an airtight lid, not only giving him ease of mind but also the look he wanted for his basement.
