Clogged Sump Pump
The open and exposed sump pit made it easily susceptible to dirt and debris. As it built up in Marie's system, the pump would take longer to kick on and work less effectively.
Finished Section Damaged by Water
Water wasn't only seeping into the unfinished section but also throughout Marie's finished area as well. The water damage was extensive, ruining the floors and walls, which had to be removed.
Drainage Added Throughout The Whole Basement
Water seepage will no longer be a problem in Marie's basement after we installed the WaterGuard drainage system. It sits in the floor-to-wall joint and is sealed over with concrete to be nearly discreet while still capturing any seepage.
Walls Wrapped in CleanSpace
Beneath those wood-paneled walls was a stone foundation that had been dealing with water seepage. So we added the CleanSpace Wall system to wrap the walls, creating a moisture barrier that discreetly directs water down and into the drainage system.
Sump Pump System Swapped
The old, clogged system in Mary's basement was replaced with a more reliable, powerful SuperSump Plus. And it has a closed-lidded system, ensuring dirt and debris can't make their way in and clog it.
Small and Mighty Dehumidifier
Water lingering in the space for far too long left the basement with pretty bad humidity issues. So the small and mighty SaniDri Sedona was added to eliminate that muggy feeling and musty smell!
