Peeling Basement Walls
Moisture had found a way through Theresa's basement wall. As it seeped in, it broke down the paint's adhesive and left the walls peeling and chipped. Definitely an unsightly mess that only got worse with time!
Clogged Window Wells
It didn't help that the window wells around Theresa's home were clogged. As water builds up in the wells, it needs a place to go and starts to push through the walls and windows.
Interior Drain System To Tackle Leaky Walls
On top of the foundation footing, we nestle in the WaterGuard drainage system. Sitting above the mud zone means it won't easily clog, so it can keep catching water seepage before it becomes a problem.
Powerful Systems Working Together
Together, the SuperSump Plus, its battery backup, and a SaniDry Sedona work to keep Theresa's basement dry. The SuperSump pushes water out, while the SaniDry Sedona eliminates humidity from the space!
Added Drainage Extensions
We added RainChutes to help ensure that any water pushed out of Theresa's basement stays out for good. Plus, it helps to keep leaves and debris from piling up, so water has a clear path to drain.
Upgraded Window Wells
Adding a new, larger window well with a bed of clean stone below is a small change that makes a huge difference! The gravel helps rainwater and melting snow drain quickly away from the window, lowering the risk of a leaky window!
