Signs of Water Intrusion
In Frank's basement, there was evidence all over that water had been an issue for a while! From the dark stains along the floors to the brown streaks running down the walls, and chipping and peeling paint in others.
Leaking Basement Windows
As water built up in the window well on the other side of the basement window, so did the pressure! It grew and grew until it eventually needed somewhere to go, so it pushed through and trickled right down into Frank's basement!
A DIY Fix For A Leaky Crack
When a wall used to crack and leak, Frank took matters into his own hands. But those DIY fixes were just band-aids over a seriously leaky issue!
Clean and Bright Basement Wall Crack Repair
This is what a permanent solution to a leaky basement wall crack looks like! We used an Xypex system to seal and plug the crack, followed by BrightWall with drainage below. Now water doesn't stand a chance of getting through to Frank's basement again!
Adding Drainage To The Window Wells
Water won't be building up in these window wells anymore! With the WellDuct Window Well Drain installed, water now has a clear path to drain down into the interior drainage system below!
Making the Connection
The WellDuct Drain connects directly into the FlowGuard installed all throughout Frank's basement! This seamless connection will help keep that window well from ever building up again.
Capturing Water At The Surface
Water might travel down the outside basement stairs, but it won't be making its way inside Frank's basement! The TrenchDrain captures that surface moisture before it even has a chance to get in.
A Newly Installed Sump Pump System
With so many new systems working together to capture any water seepage, it was so important to have a reliable sump pump installed to keep Frank's basement dry. Thanks to the newly installed SuperSump Plus and its powerful Zoeller pump, water won't have a chance to linger and cause any issues down here!
Sealed In Systems Ready to Go
Each of these systems works together to keep water moving from one to the next. And once they're covered over in concrete, you'd hardly know an effective waterproofing solution was ever added to Frank's basement!
