The sump area seemed to be where all the moisture in Roxana's basement gathered but never actually made its way into the sump pump! Instead, moisture would pool around it, leaving damp spots and stains behind.
Breaking Things Open
It was out with the old, since we removed Roxana's old concrete pit to make way for something better. Once it's all cleared out, our team dug one that's deeper and will seamlessly connect with the new drainage system!
Upgraded Interior Drainage
With the floor being so thin in Roxana's basement, the FlowGuard drainage system was the perfect solution. It collects water from the basement walls with a wall flange, while a drain channel under brings all water to the sump pump system.
Wrapped and Protected Walls
The CleanSpace Wall System does more than give Roxana's basement a clean look! This wall system acts as a shield against water seepage. Now, if any moisture tries to pass through the walls, it's redirected down to the drainage system and then straight to the sump pump instead.
