Water Spreading
Something in this picture doesn't belong in a basement! No, not the fun lights, but the large river of water forming across Jean's basement floor! Water and basements just don't mix!
Damp Basement Walls
In other parts of Jean's basement, more signs of water intrusion were hiding in plain sight. White, chalky residue running down the walls, damp blocks along the base of the foundation, and a dark line running down where the wall meets the floor. All clear signs of water issues at play!
New Interior Drainage System
If water tries to get into Jean's basement, it stops right in its tracks and gets redirected! The WaterGuard drainage system has two special features designed to collect water from both the ground below and the walls above, leaving behind a dry, water-free basement!
Bright and Dry Basement Walls
Dark and dingy walls were transformed in Jean's basement, thanks to our BrightWall panels! These semi-rigid panels cover the walls to create a moisture barrier, so if any water seeps in, it is directed straight down into the drainage system below.
Triple the Protection
Jean's basement wasn't just getting one sump pump but two! The first was a TripleSafe, which offers Jean triple the protection thanks to its three pumps. One is even a battery-backup option!
A Super Second System
Hidden away was the second pump added to Jean's basement! The SuperSump works to push any moisture collected in this section of the basement up and out.
All Set and Dry
The final step to this waterproofing makeover in Jean's basement? Sealing it all in with a fresh layer of concrete that helps lock the WaterGuard drainage system in place, making it nearly invisible!
