Large and Sprawling Wall Crack
Layer by layer, the truth came into view! We carefully peeled back the insulation to uncover this large crack wrapping around this support beam in Matt's basement. The crew started by prepping the area, fully exposing the crack, and chipping out the floor below to make way for a proper drainage system.
Repaired Crack
Water won't be pushing its way through this repair! We used an Xypex system to plug and patch this crazy crack in Matt's basement. It's a hydraulic like cement that goes deep into the crack, working to stop water flow in seconds!
Beautiful BrightWall Added
Once the Xypex system was cured and dried, it was time to add BrightWall over top! This doesn't just make the repair look cleaner but also provides extra protection so that if even a drop of water ever wiggles its way through, it's directed straight into the drainage below, never into Matt's basement!
Drainage Added For Protection
The WaterGuard drainage system may be hidden under that fresh concrete, but it's hard at work down there. The open trench was filled with an effective drainage system, ensuring that any water directed down is captured and flows easily into Matt's existing system.
Sealed and Set
The final piece of Matt's project? Rewrapping the walls with the insulation! We worked hard to make it as seamless as possible, so now Matt won't have to worry about that pesky wall crack ever again.
