Basement Dealing With Water Issues
Before our team could go down and work our magic on Remone's basement, he had some real struggles. The paint on the walls was starting to bubble and pop from moisture. Then, across the floor, water had spread far and wide, leaving dark, damp stains all about.
Hidden and Ineffective Sump Pump
Tucked away in a corner of Remone's basement was his sump pump system. Water did make its way in from time to time, but the setup wasn't great. Moisture wasn't effectively making its way in, and it quickly found a different path before it could make its way to the sump pump!
Brighter Basement Walls
Painted walls are a thing of the past down here in Remone's basement! Unlike paint and other materials used to "waterproof" a basement, the CleanSpace Wall System will never chip, peel, or flake away from the concrete. Instead, any water seepage coming through the wall is directed down into the drainage system below.
A Discreet Interior Drainage System
Once that concrete dries in Remone's basement, you'd hardly ever know the WaterGuard drainage system was installed! The only thing that will give it away is the very top of the wall flange just sticking out. But as it sits under the floor, it collects water seeping through the basement walls and up from the ground.
Capturing Moisture at the Surface
What's outside usually tries to come in, and that's exactly what moisture was doing at this door in Remone's basement! So we used the TrenchDrain and had it span the entire doorway opening. It will collect any water seeping in under the door and redirect it to the perimeter drainage system.
Moisture Taken Away
Two amazing systems in just one spot down in Remone's basement! With a TripleSafe installed, his basement will stay dry no matter what, thanks to the primary, secondary, and battery backup pumps. Then the SaniDry Sedona removes lingering moisture from the air by wringing it out and blowing clean, dry air around the basement!
