Stained and Peeling Walls
There were signs of water issues in Jason's basement, but some were just a bit more hidden than others! Under the utility sink, stains, discoloration, and peeling paint were all telltale signs of moisture squeezing its way in.
The Old Sump Pump Set Up
Hmmm, something was missing from Jason's sump pump system. Water was getting in but not out, so a lot of moisture built up when it needed to be pushed out!
Drainage Channel for FlowGuard
The FlowGuard drainage system comes in two pieces! The first is the main drainage channel that goes deeper into the ground. The inlet holes along the bottom collect moisture so it can't linger or seep into Jason's basement.
Top Piece Sealed In and Ready
The second piece of the FlowGuard drainage system sits on top of the channel and stone. This is the piece you can see, with its top edge sticking up and out of the fresh concrete. It collects any moisture coming down the wall and helps it flow into the drainage channel below!
Upgraded Sump Pump Setup
Not every sump system is created equal! So, to ensure Jason's basement is protected reliably, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump. It's designed to handle even the most challenging water situation thanks to its primary, secondary, and battery-backup pumps in one system!
