Water Damage In the Basement
Where the walls and the floors meet, water is starting to accumulate. But after heavy or frequent rain showers, it seemed like more water would come in. Over time, there were visible signs of water damage in the basement.

Where SmartJacks Will Go
After our Design Specialist came out to take a closer look at the basement and speak with the homeowner, it was discovered that there were signs of the floor above sagging. So, installing a SmartJack system will help permanently lift and stabilize the floor above.

SmartJack Installed
SmartJacks are custom-fitted for this space. The top was attached to the beam that supports the joists and pushed up to increase the support. The bottom of the posts rest in a concrete pad. But what makes this system stand out from the rest is that it won't settle, rot, or shift, and if ever needed, can be adjusted!

BrightWall Installed
We installed BrightWall® Panels on all the basement walls. These panels help with the waterproofing process because, as water seeps through the walls, it will be redirected to a new perimeter drain that will be installed after the BrightWall panels are in place.

Discrete WaterGuard Installed
A perimeter of WaterGuard was installed to capture any water coming down from the BrightWall through small inlet holes in the system. After this system is installed and sealed under a thin layer of concrete, it's nearly invisible, with only a small wall flange visible.

A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System
To help manage the increased water flow being directed to the sump pump, we installed a Super Sump. It offers a reliable, high-volume capacity system with built-in alarms to alert the homeowner if the water level rises too high. An airtight cover ensures that no debris or pests can enter and cause issues with this new sump pump.

SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
This dehumidifier helps to keep the basement from feeling muggy and prevents a musty odor from lingering. Plus, it automatically empties into the sump pump, so now this homeowner won't have to go down to empty the tray!
