Previous Sump Pump
In Rick's basement, he was struggling with wet areas, meaning that water wasn't draining to the pump. Plus, when heavy rain came, they struggled to keep up with the water coming in.

Cracks in The Foundation
The Team removed all the paneling and insulation already on the walls. After that, they were able to inspect each fracture in the foundation and determine which ones could be repaired with an Xypex system and which would require CarbonArmor® Stitches.

BrightWall Installation
After the cracks are addressed, we installed BrightWall Basement Wall Panels along the entire wall. These panels are made of rigid plastic that directs any moisture that seeps in through the walls to a newly installed perimeter drainage system.

WaterGuard Placed Around The Perimeter
WaterGuard Basement Drainage System was installed along the entire perimeter to capture any water directed down from the BrightWall and any water seepage. Water enters the system through inlet holes in the WaterGuard and then flows down to the sump pump.

Sealing in The WaterGuard
WaterGuard is made of a rigid plastic, so after it's settled in the stone and covered with cement, it won't begin to break down and deteriorate like other systems.

A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System with an UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump System
In the area of the basement that is naturally lower than the rest, a new sump pump was installed, as this is the primary location where water collects. Plus, with the addition of the UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump System, if there is an increase in water in the system, it will trigger its automatic switch that will turn on its battery-operated pump.
