The View In Between The Two Walls
In Nichola's basement, he had cosmetic walls installed in front of the foundation walls to finish his basement. But after some time, he began to notice some water in one area, so after looking between the two walls, he discovered there was a large crack running up the foundation wall.

Full View Of The Foundation Crack
When our Team arrived, they removed a portion of the wall to access the crack for repairs fully. After exposing the crack, they were able to see that it ran the whole length of the wall.

Xypex Patch'n Plug Repair System
To plug and repair the crack, our Team used a Xypex Patch'n Plug repair system. The first step in the process is to U out the crack, fully exposing how deep it is, and then applying the Xypex. It is a cement-like mixture designed to plug the crack, preventing further water seepage, and to seal the crack as well as any defects around it.

BrightWall Wall Panel
After the crack is fully dried, a panel of BrightWall is installed over it. If any moisture seeps through the wall around the crack, it will hit the BrightWall and be directed down the perimeter drainage system in the basement.

WaterGuard Drainage System
Under the BrightWall, a piece of WaterGuard is installed to help catch any moisture that will be directed down from the BrightWall and into the basement's perimeter drainage system.
