The Crack In the Basement
In one corner of David's basement, he discovered a large crack through which water seeped during rainstorms. The water was coming in and pooling on the floor.

Prep For Xypex Repair
Before we could apply the Xypex system to the wall, the Team needed to U-out crack. This will allow us to see how deep the crack is, so we can get the Xypex in to fully plug the crack.

Xypex Patch'n Plug
The Xypex system will stop water within seconds and can seal the crack as well as other defects in the surrounding foundation. It's a cement-like compound that dries extremely fast, too!

BrightWall Basement Wall Panels
Shortly after the Xypex system is applied, the Team will install the BrightWall Basement Wall Panels. These panels are installed over the repaired foundation cracks because if any moisture seeps through that crack or the surrounding wall, the BrightWall will direct all of that water to the perimeter drainage system, ensuring no water leaks onto the basement floors.

WaterGuard Basement Drainage System
Under that newly installed BrightWall panel, we also installed a strip of WaterGuard Basement Drainage System. It is designed to capture that water that could be directed down from the BrightWall and then help direct it to the home's current perimeter drainage system in place.

Sealed In With Concrete
After the WaterGuard is installed, it is sealed over with concrete. This system is nearly invisible, with just the top flange visible, creating a seamless, repaired look when combined with the new BrightWall panel installed.
