Water Damage In The Basement
Due to moisture coming in from the walls and pooling in some areas of the basement, over time, it caused damage to some areas. If this problem is left untreated, it will only get worse, and soon other issues, like mold and mildew growth, can become an issue.

WaterGuard Installed
Along the whole perimeter of the basement, the crew installed WaterGuard. It's a rigid plastic drain system installed below the floor with inlet holes that capture any moisture and help it flow down to the sump pump. Plus, after being covered with cement, it won't break down or deteriorate because it's made of plastic, and only the top flange of the system will be visible, making it nearly invisible!

Sump Pump Installed
A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System was installed where the previous pump was, since in this basement, that's where the floor naturally pitches down, meaning water will want to flow down to that spot. The SuperSump is a great addition because these systems come with air-tight lids to keep debris and basement critters out of the system, so it can keep working smoothly. Plus, they're known for their reliability and ability to handle large volumes of water!
