Water Damaged Wall
There were signs of water damage at the junction of the wall and floor. That sign alone was enough to indicate that water was entering the basement. This usually happens due to something called hydrostatic pressure, which occurs when the soil surrounding the house's foundation has too much water and pushes it inward, often through the foundation of many homes.

CleanSpace Basement Finishing Wall System
Because water was trying to seep through the walls, the Team installed CleanSpace, which will serve as a moisture and vapor barrier, meaning that any water or moisture trying to penetrate the walls will be blocked and directed down the new perimeter drainage system that was also installed.

WaterGuard Basement Drainage System
To capture all of that moisture being directed down from the CleanSpace and have it drain to the sump pump, we installed a WaterGuard directly below. This system sits right where the walls and the floor meet and is designed to have small inlet holes that will capture that water so it never gets on the floor. Plus, after it is installed and concreted over, it becomes nearly invisible, with only a small portion of the flange's top visible.

SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System
This sump pump system is known for its reliability and ability to handle large volumes of water effectively. Additionally, it includes a built-in alarm system, so if the water level ever rises, it will alert the homeowners well before it becomes a problem and water enters their basement.
