Water Damage On The Walls and Floors
The goal is for it to be a finished basement complete with a guest room, entertainment space, and bathroom. But before that could happen, they needed to address the issue of water getting into the space. They were getting enough that it was soaking through some of the floors.

BrightWall Basement Wall Panels
These panels will help prevent water from entering the basement and onto her floors. They are made of a rigid plastic that is not only durable, but also easy to wipe down and clean. The main goal, though, is to stop any water from seeping through the walls and into the basement. Instead, they trap and direct all of that moisture down the perimeter drainage system

WaterGuard Basement Drainage System
This system works to capture all of the moisture coming from walls or leaks along the wall and floor joint through inlet holes in the system. That water will then flow down to a sump pump. After the system is installed, it's covered by cement so that the only thing visible when you look at it is the very top of the flange.

SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System
To keep up with all of the water being directed down to the sump pump, we upgraded Jacob's sump pump, known for its reliability and ability to handle large volumes of water effectively. This sump pump sits inside a SuperLinerĀ®, which comes with an airtight lid that has a special drainage port that allows a dehumidifier to be hooked up to drain directly into the sump pump.

SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
A sedona will stop mold growing in the space, musty odors from forming, and will get rid of that muggy feeling, which no one wants in their living space. Plus, with the port on the sump pump lid, it can easily be hooked up for the system to drain right into the sump pump, making it easy for long-term maintenance!
