The Basement Before
Jeff's basement in his Buffalo, NY home would have water come in during heavy rains. He wanted to find a solution to stop this, so he could begin to use his basement space more without worrying about items getting wet, damaged, or ruined.

BrightWall Basement Wall Panels
The first step in this basement project was to install BrightWall Basement Wall Panels. These panels will direct any water or moisture coming from the walls down to the perimeter drains, but they also give a clean and polished look to the space.

WaterGuard Basement Drainage System
To capture the water now being directed down from the BrightWall Panels, a full perimeter of WaterGuard Basement Drainage System was installed directly beneath them. The WaterGuard will capture water that is directed down from the Brightwall and any that leaks along where the wall and floors meet. It's then directed down to the sump pump.

SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System
Originally, in Jeff's basement, there was no sump pump. This meant that the WaterGuard did not have a dedicated area to drain to, so we went in and installed a SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System. This system has a cast-iron pump that offers reliability and high-volume pumping capabilities.
