Water Damage to the Floors
Over time, water has been seeping in at the point where the walls and floors meet. Those areas were always damp and started to leave water spots and some damage in certain areas.
Open Sump Pit in The Space
In this basement garage, there was also an open sump pit. The previous homeowners used pieces of wood to cover the sump, hoping it would keep out pests and debris.
Full Perimeter of our WaterGuard Drainage System
To tackle the water that has been seeping in where the floors and walls meet, we installed a WaterGuard drainage system along the whole perimeter of the space. The Waterguard will collect that water seeping in and then help to direct it down to the sump pump.
New Closed System Sump Pump Installed
To replace the open sump pit, Frank's Basement Systems installed a SuperSump sump pump system. It not only reliably handles large volumes of water but comes in a liner with an air-tight lid so critters or debris cannot make their way into the system!
