Peeling Paint and Water Damage
The homeowner first tried to waterproof the walls using Drylok. Over time, the paint began to peel, so instead of applying a few more coats, they knew it was time to call in a professional.

Open Sump Pit In The Basement
This basement already had a sump pump installed, but it was located in an open pit in the corner of the basement. Also, as all the water seeped in, it would end up sitting on the floor and not flow into the sump pit.

BrightWall Panels To Transform The Space
On all of the basement walls, BrightWall panels were installed to help direct any moisture seeping out to the perimeter drainage system. Plus, they help give a clean and bright appearance to the space!

WaterGuard Drainage System Installed
Underneath that fresh layer of concrete is the WaterGuard drainage system that will capture any moisture seeping inside. It will then help direct it down to the sump pump, keeping the water off the basement floor.

Newly Installed Sump Pump
A SuperSump was installed to reliably handle the increased volume of water flowing to it now in a closed-lid system. Additionally, a backup battery system was installed in case of a power failure, ensuring the sump pump could continue to work in the case of a power outage!
