Water Damage To The Basement Floors
With water constantly coming in and pooling on the floors, signs of water damage became evident. There was discoloration to the floors, and the lower portion of the walls had damage and peeling paint.
Window Well Covering Installed
When it rained, water would come through the basement windows. To stop this, the crew installed a window well cover outside.
WaterGuard Drainage System Installed
A perimeter of the WaterGuard drainage system was installed where the walls meet the floors to capture any incoming water. This system works to direct any water down to the sump pump and keep it off the basement floor.
Updated Sump Pump And Dehumidifier Added
To ensure water stays out of this basement, a SuperSump Premier system was installed along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The upgraded sump pump will work to catch and push water away from the foundation, while the dehumidifier will work to get rid of the muggy feeling caused by high humidity!
